Luca Pilato


Luca Pilato is one of the original and long-standing Junk/Junk Department residents. From his debut at Junk club in 2006 he has moved to main club resident sharing the bill with the likes of; Matthias Tanzmann, Dan Ghenacia, Josh Wink, DJ Sneak, Yousef, Heidi, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky, Lee Curtiss, Kerri Chandler, Layo + Bushwacka, Skream, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles the list goes on…

He has also represented Junk at club nights including cIrCoLoCo, Circus, BuggedOut!, Zoo Project, Watergate, Moon Harbour, Ketoloco, Just Jack & Cocoon and in 2008 and 2009 Luca held back to back residencies in Ibiza at Pete Tong’s infamous Friday night residency supporting a long list of stars including Luciano and Groove Armada.Taking influences from the DJs he’s performed alongside Luca has manufactured his own blend of groove led house and grown a strong reputation with his peers. No surprise then that he’s been invited to make trips across the country with dates in Leeds, Bristol with Just Jack and regular trips to London’s nightlife scene with dates at underground venues Basing House, Egg, Cargo and Cable plus highly sought after slots for Mixmag’s exclusive “That Mixmag Thing” and Ketoloco’s infamous Bank Holiday warehouse parties.

Luca has also appeared at clubs and festivals across Europe including trips to Echo in Croatia and two appearances at EXIT festival in Serbia, a return to Ibiza with Junk Department at Sankeys in 2012 and 2013 and debuts in Amsterdam’s Studio80, Watergate in Berlin and being asked to play at the massive FlyBermuda festival in Berlin’s Templehof.

On the UK scene Luca has performed sets at Zoo Project festival, Isle Of Wight Festival, Common People (to 4000 people) and Junk’s own 5000 capacity sell-out event Big Top as well as the after party for the huge Eastern Electrics festival and at BuggedOut Weekender!
