Announcing our Side Event 2018 Line up
We are all set and deliriously happy to release the line up for our side events at Secret Solstice 2018. We have been working hard to find the creme de la creme of artists, specially curated to perform at our super exclusive nature adventures.
Geothermal Pool Party with All Day I Dream
Friday 22nd June 11:00 – 18:00
All Day I Dream is coming to Iceland. New for 2018, our opening side event will be a exciting gathering of 82 party people in an old geothermal pool called Hreppslaug in Skorradalur. All Day I Dream explores beautiful, emotional and melancholic shades of house and techno through its label’s releases, events and artists and will be hosted by Lee Burridge himself. All Day I Dream parties began on a baking Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation and we can’t wait to show you what he’s got.

Into the Glacier
Saturday 23rd June 11:00 – 19:00
Into the Glacier is back with a vengeance. We have teamed up with Dubfire to melt the ice around you with some brutally honest electro beats, which he has carefully crafted from his house and techno roots. As someone who performs with an array of equipment, he has elevated the art of DJing with his masterful music manipulation and innovative creation of new sounds on the fly. Merging the boundaries of DJs and performers, this ad-lib style leads to a constantly exhilarating, unpredictable show and demonstrates his penchant for technology.

The Lava Tunnel
Saturday 23rd June 14:00 – 19:00 & Sunday 24th June 14:00 – 19:00
Our intimate shows at the Lava Tunnel are close to our hearts, so we take a long time deliberating which Icelandic artists will shine the brightest light in the magnificent magma tunnels with their resonating vocals. The shows are acoustic, inspiring and up close and personal so we have asked Birgir, GNDR, Una Stef, Valdimar, Ása and Teitur Magnússon to play for our devoted tunnel explorers.
