FOO FIGHTERS – Monkey Wrench. Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary at this year’s festival, this banger track from their 1997 album ‘The Colour and the Shape’ is guaranteed to get fans old and new screaming at the top of their lungs. But let’s face it, their whole set is guaranteed to be full of bonafide anthems.
KIASMOS – Burnt. This Icelandic minimalist techno duo have made quite a name for themselves at home and worldwide. The pair have named this track as their favourite from their self-titled second album, so who are we to argue!
DAVE – Thiago Silva. Relative newcomer to the Grime scene, Dave is definitely a name to look out for. With Drake recently remixing his track ‘Wanna Know’, the sky is the limit for this 18 year old rapper. Catch his set to hear dirty South London sounds in downtown Reykjavik.
TANIA VULCANO – Motherfck! Tania Vulcano, undisputed First Lady of Circoloco and Queen of DC10 Ibiza will bring her cult her brand of quality underground music to this year’s festival. You can’t argue with tracks like this.
THE PRODIGY – Omen. Another set that will be back to back bangers, this is merely one of their mighty hits that we can’t wait to thrash around to. Start going to the gym now kids, you’ll need stamina to survive this mosh pit.
SOFFIA BJORG – The Road. Craving real instruments? Don’t miss rising Icelandic star Soffia Bjorg’s blend of edgy Americana and sultry folk. Whether playing with her band or just with her guitar, her knockout vocals and presence will definitely command your attention.
PHAROAHE MONCH – Simon Says. C’mon. What other track were we going to pick? Inappropriate? Yes. Controversial? Yes. Absolute fucking tune? Damn straight.
SOUL CLAP – The Clapping Song. No strangers to the club scene, this American DJ and production duo have been making smooth tunes since 2001. Spin this tune and just try not to dance.
AMABADAMA – Hossa Hossa. Icelandic Reggae? Yes, it does exist! This bouncy track will have you basking in non-stop sunshine, even if it’s cloudy.
KERRI CHANDLER – Mommy What’s a Record. No stranger to Secret Solstice, Kerri Chandler returns this year to do what he does best. This track is guaranteed to be a crowd please!
