The festival address is: Laugardalur & Laugardalshöll, Engjavegur 7, 104 Reykjavík.
For our international customers the best way to get here is by flight. All international flights arrive at the Leifsstöð international airport in Keflavík which is about an hour outside the capital city of Reykjavík where the festival takes place.
If you wish to travel to Iceland by boat the Smyril line operates regular trips to Iceland. It‘s a good alternative especially if you wish to bring a car or a camper. You can get more info on available dates and locations from their website.
Upon your arrival at the international airport in Keflavik you will have to make your way to the capital of Reykjavik. You can do this either by bus, rental car or taxi. The festival address is Engjavegur 7, 104 Reykjavík and if you’re coming to the festival site via airport transfer you exit at Reykjavík City Hostel. A variety of companies provide airport transfers from the international airport in Keflavík. You can book an airport transfer in advance through Keflavík Airports website.
If you want to take a taxi home after the festival, we have a dedicated taxi rank located at the side of the Hel venue. This is signposted and shown on our customer map. For your own safety and ease, please use this area when you need to take a taxi. You can get more information on their services on their websites.
Our festival site is in the centre of town but if you need to get to the suburbs then we are well serviced by a number of local buses. The day bus timetables are shown here, and there are also a number of night buses on Friday and Saturday
There is no customer parking on site, and we would discourage people from travelling in a car.
Please also note, the Reykjavik Marathon takes place on Thursday 21st June from 16:00, and there will be road closures around Laugardalsholl and KSI, which means that any movement of vehicles in the area will be limited. We strongly recommend that all ticket-holders leave their cars at home on this day! More information can be found on the marathon official website here, and the route map shown below:
