Exciting new artist added. Last wave announcement.

Great news everybody! Dubfire will be joining us at this years festival. He is a super tight techno DJ with a massive following. Prior to his solo career he was a part of the grammy winning duo Deep Dish and was best known for his progressive house music but Dubfire is all about the tehcno now.

Junglist Massive is in the house! Positively prolific and pulsating, the single-minded BJARKI and his childhood friend set up their own outlet in 2017, bbbbbb Records, to introduce Icelandic dance music to an international audience. With his releases Bjarki has placed himself firmly leading the pack of international artists who in the past few years have taken a hauntoloical approach to re-moulding the scents of breakbeat, rave, jungle and IDM into sounds that are entirely their own.

Ateria just won the Icelandic battle of the bands. This band is the future of goth with two teenage sisters singing and playing all kinds of strings and a 12 year old niece playing the drums. Since they won the battle of the bands (Icelandic: Músíktilraunir)  they have been practicing a lot and Secret Solstice will be their biggest gig ever.

DJ Caspa. The first genre of music Caspa got into was Jungle and his vinyl collection grew like crazy always looking for that fresh new track. Having been on and off the circuit living out the dream of a bedroom DJ to hit the club scene and had some success over the 90’s playing at clubs up and down the country and also overseas with Germany being a major hot spot for him. Caspa’s current sound is house in many forms from tech house, to bumpy oldskool newskool grooves.

Intr0beatz is no rookie. He’s been doing his own thing for almost 20 years as a dj/producer/skate filmer. Today his aim is towards dancemusic influenced by everything around him from hiphop to juicy burgers.

Also added to the line up are Mókrókar, who came in second at this years battle of the bands and were selecter “The bluesiest band”. They are all about the funk and have played their wicked jazz all around Reykjavík.
