LaFontaine [IS]

Johannes LaFontaine is a dj, producer and the owner of [199X] Recordings. He started creating electronic music at the tender age of 11 and was largely inspired by his older uncle Guðlaugur Halldór, who is the other half of the Icelandic rock band Fufanu. LaFontaine has played at every major festival in Iceland, at Reykjavík’s most popular clubs and bars, at clubs in Berlin and Copenhagen (where he is based now) and he has released music under labels throughout Europe using 5 different aliases. Whilst he has worked on numerous solo projects and collaborations throughout the years, he now mainly focuses on playing and releasing carefully selected music as LaFontaine and running his newly established techno imprint 199X Recordings. Expect big things for this rising techno artist.
