Rythmatik [IS]

Rythmatik is a four-piece Indie rock band hailing from the towns of Suðureyri and Akureyri of Iceland. They play rock with an emphasis on fun guitar riffs, And their music is greatly influenced from British bands of the eighties (The Smiths, Big Country) although with their own unique heavier take on the genre. They recently won the national “Battle of the bands” The Icelandic Music Experiments (Músikltilraunir), and were quick to capitalize on that momentum, putting on energetic and fun live shows throughout the following summer. The band is releasing their first LP in Europe in the fall of 2017 and is planned to follow the album with their first European tour.
